Michael and Joshua played soccer this year for the local Catholic private school. They had a fabulous season and tons of fun. Michael even became a great offensive player scoring many goals. It is really fun to watch your kids score - just saying.

It has been nice getting back into school. We are trying some new history, science and math and it has been fun to explore and try new things. We still don't quite have our school space the way we want, but we are trying to figure out what it is that we want before we make more changes.
We had a fabulous field trip with our homeschool friends. We went to a pumpkin patch and had fun picking a pumpkin, enjoying a corn maze and my favorite was the cow train.
Hyrum loved exploring in the corn maze. We followed the big boys, so we didn't get lost and then moseyed together outside of the maze where he could just explore on his own. |
The cow train looked like a little kids ride until the tractor kicked it into high gear and took off around the farm. The boys had a blast! |
Apparently James was not content to not have a major project, so he has taken up woodworking. He build this bed, so his parents would have a bed to sleep in when they came. Yes, he built it - headboard, frame and all!
And if that wasn't enough he made a headboard for our bed. I am absolutely amazed by his new skills. I can't wait to see what he has in store next!
The boys loved helping to stain the headboard! |
Hyrum, of course, likes playing on the bed. He made it difficult to get a picture, but hopefully you get the idea. |
So, in general life if good and we are having fun enjoying our new house and being back to normal!
The boys love cars right now and Joshua bought some track for his birthday. The steeper the track, the faster your cars will go. And that is what is most important. :) |
